Update from Philip:

Halloween is almost upon us. How about treat, no trick?

Join us for a night of light on the streets when we join the revellers giving out treats without the tricks. 200 “bags of Hope” kindly supplied by UCB containing the “sweetened” message of hope.

Look forward to seeing you on Friday 31st October at 6pm at Melrose Hall.

Also, read more about the FREE Film Premier happening next month.

Melrose Christian Fellowship

is an independent pentecostal church with a congregation of about 60 people of many different nationalities. Formerly part of the denomination known as The Church Of God Of Prophecy with its roots in the holiness movement of the 1800's.

The present English Pastor and his Jamaican wife came from London in 1974 to plant the church on one of the local London overspill estates called Popley which has grown in size over a period of time so that with new estates being added (Popley Islands, Merton Rise, Popley Poets, etc) there are many thousands of homes.

Updates

Previous updates from Philip:

Although Evadne and I have supported the work of Gideons personally by collecting all our 2p’s in little plastic tubes, we’ve now asked our congregation to support this in the same way. Each tube filled represents a Bible for placement in a hospital, school, hotel etc.

If you would like to help, please pick up a tube from Melrose Hall or call 01256 411 441 to have one delivered.
